About Anne Philippi

The work began with a crack in the old story.

Anne Philippi

After 15 years in high-profile journalism covering Hollywood and tech for GQ, Vogue, and Vanity Fair, Anne Philippi had a transformative experience with psychedelics, one that changed the direction of her work entirely.

In 2020, she founded The New Health Club, the first lifestyle-driven platform in the psychedelic space, backed early on by leaders like Dr. Bronner's and Christian Angermayer. Through its podcast, Anne built a network reaching from top clinicians to cultural figures, and became one of the defining voices working to destigmatize psychedelic medicine. Deeply rooted in the global psychedelic ecosystem, she develops content that reaches beyond the industry itself, connecting psychedelics with the worlds of entertainment, culture, and creators.

In 2025, she launched The New Health Institute, a US-based nonprofit dedicated to redefining cultural narratives around psychedelics and educating the public on evidence-based best practices for mental health treatment. At its center is a recurring series of curated dinners, intimate convenings that bring together everyday people, veterans, clinicians, and policymakers around one table. Each dinner has a stated theme, and each guest carries a story of healing, skepticism, or change. The Institute documents these stories, giving a face and a voice to a conversation too often reduced to headlines, and pushing back against stigma and invisibility. Its vision: to become the definitive voice demystifying alternative and lifestyle medicines through safe, evidence-based, and innovative strategies using AI and data.

Anne has become a strong creator and content voice in the space, bridging the gap between science, transformation and lifestyle.

Why am I doing this?

Transformation is painful. But it is the solution. My psychedelic journey cracked my life wide open. Facing my trauma instead of running from it changed everything: my career, my home, who I even am. But the deeper shift was internal: a new relationship with my body, my mind, my sense of what healing can look like. And I'm not alone in this. It's happening everywhere right now: a whole generation quietly resetting, rethinking what health even means.
